The Weighing Scale Method

Here you can learn about how to make use of the Weighing Scale Method to facilitate decisions and achieve your goals!

Using the Weighing Scale Method in combination with PathFinder can yield very good results!

What is the Weighing Scale Method?

The Weighing Scale Method states that:
All choices in all situations can always be posted in a weighing-scale-setup. Where the decision that will be made is the choice that weighs the most!

How to use this mindset

We can take advantage of this mindset to achieve our goals. "All" that is required is to make desired choice weigh the most!

Though this might not always be an easy task, but by using this mindset we can make it easier for our brain to see opportunities and come up with solutions.

The mindset can be applied in many different areas, personal growth, professional success, or nurturing relationships etc.

Humans use Heuristics

We frequently employ heuristics while making choices—these are mental shortcuts and simplifications that aid our decision-making process. Consequently, certain arguments we might not always remember or consider during our decision-making.

But even though this is true, by keeping this in mind when making our weighing-scale-setups, we still can achieve great results!

Everything can count as arguments!

Making this mindset work we need to considering all kinds of arguments as relevant. Whether it's emotions, facts, unconscious thoughts, or anything else, all factors can contribute to the decision-making process.

The Setup is Personal!

The weighing-Scale-Setup is personal! So depending on what perspective we take the arguments will have very different weighing!

This also means that there is no right or wrong way of putting down arguments or how to weigh them! It is all personal and depends on the perspective we take!

If you want you can download my document where I have written about the pathFinder program, and also about the Weighing Scale Method. It is right now a bit messy, and not fully finished yet. But I still decided to put it out. I will improve the text in the future.
